THE FOUNDER

Paula Schwarz

Paula Schwarz is a mother of two who divides her time between San Francisco and the Greek island of Samos, which lies near the border of Greece and Turkey. Her children attend school on Samos, where she actively engages with the local community and the 8.000 person refugee camp to test and implement innovative solutions.

While in San Francisco and the Bay Area, Paula reviews and promotes humanitarian startups for selected partners and investors.

She reviews or creates cutting-edge AI to enhance the impact of these startups, tests the new innovation on the ground and delves into further research on misinformation and the acceleration of humanitarian initiatives with the use of technology and AI with the University of Berkeley.
